To optimize the setup of your product catalog, users with the Manage Bulk Assign and Manage Products permissions can efficiently apply approval statuses to all products within the organization in bulk.
Accessing Bulk Assign Approval Statuses
Using the left-hand navigator, go to Administration.
Open the card titled Bulk Assignment.
Select the card titled Approval Status.
Please note that if you only have Manage Products and Manage Bulk Assign, and do not have Manage Filters, you will be taken immediately to the screen below.
Manage Approval Statuses in Bulk
When you enter the Bulk Assign Approval Statuses page, you will see an overview of all approval statuses in your organization, as well as the number of products that given status is associated to in the system.
To begin assignment, go to the button at the top right-hand corner titled Select Products.
- Choose the products you would like to manage the approval status for using the checkboxes beside the rows.
- When you have finished selecting the products, click the orange button titled Select Status.
- Choose the approval status you would like to assign to these products using the drop-down menu. You may also type an approval comment.
- After you have finished with your selection an/or comment, you can choose to apply status to products using the orange button in the top right-hand corner.
- Confirm your selection after reviewing the message on the screen by selecting the Apply Status button.
- When Assignment Success has been confirmed, you may choose to continue bulk assigning approval statuses or go back to the main page.
Please note that if you are attempting to assign a status from an extensive number of products, you will see a processing screen. This is an indicator that the assignment is working, but may take a few more moments.
