Making a Request

All users in the TMS have the ability to make a request through the Request Management module. Request forms are created in the Workflow Management module. Once a user submits a request form, the request is sent to the designated evaluators.


In order to make a request, at least one workflow must be published by the administrator. 

 

Select the Request Management icon in the left-hand navigator.

In the upper right-hand corner, select the "New Request" button to begin a request.

Some administrators may have created multiple request forms meant for different purposes. Please refer to the name and description of the given request forms to determine which is the best option for you.

  1. Type an appropriate name for your request. Be specific, including names of products, services, etc. 

  2. Answer each question in the request form to the best of your ability. Questions that you have answered will receive a green check mark. You may undo and change your answers any time before submittal and before a request has been approved or denied.
  3. Required questions are designated by the red text as shown below. You must answer all required questions for a given request form to submit a request. 
  4. You may choose to leave comments for the evaluators. Please note that until a form is submitted, evaluators cannot see comments you have left them. Once submitted, all comments will be immediately available to the evaluators.
  5. When finished with filling out the request form, submit your request. This will change the status of the request to "Pending:"

 

Once a request has been submitted, users may refer back to the request management module where there will be a record of all of their requests and their status.
