Navigating the TMS

Use various icons and menus within the TMS to navigate its features. Learn how navigation varies based on user permissions.

Left Navigation Bar

The blue left navigate bar in Veracity contains various icons to help users navigate the TMS. These icons vary based on the permissions assigned to a user.

Default User Menu Icons

By default, if a user has no added permissions, they will see three icons in the left navigation bar:

For default users, this will be the Catalog.

Catalog Icon

 

Product Catalog

Use to view the Product Catalog

Request Mgmt Icon

 

Request Management

Use to submit a request

Additional Permissions-Based Menu Icons

The icons below will be visible to users if they have the associated permissions. You can review TMS Permissions here.

Slider Icon

 

Homepage

For default users, this will be the Catalog. For users who have been given Contract Viewer or Management permissions, this page will be the Contract Dashboard instead.

Directory Icon2

 

Directory

For users with permissions related to the Directory, they will see the Directory icon.

Contract Mgmt Icon2

 

Contracts

Users with contract-related permissions will see this Contracts icon.

Reports Icon

 

Reports

Users with Contract Management Viewer or Manager permissions will see the Reports icon.

Request Mgmt Icon

 

Request Management

If a user has Workflow Evaluator permissions, they can access all pending and completed tasks and decisions using this icon.

Settings Icon

 

Settings / Administration

Users who have editing or management-level permission(s) within the TMS will see the Settings icon in the bottom left of the TMS.

 

Top Right Menu

In the top right of the TMS screen, all users will see the below icons.

Notifications Icon

 

Notifications

Users who have participated in a request workflow as a requester or evaluator can view workflow notifications here. A red badge will signify unread notifications.

Help Icon

 

Knowledge Base & Customer Support

This icon will take users to the Knowledge Base. In addition, at the top right of the Knowledge Base, users can access the Customer Portal where they can submit support tickets, feature requests, or other contact forms.

Manual Logout

Click this icon to force logout of the TMS.
